The Foundation for Community Safety is dedicated to supporting Gresham’s first responders through events, programming, and sharing their heroic stories, fostering strong connections between the community and those who serve.

Three Pillars of Our Work:

1. Community Engagement Events
   We create opportunities for the public to interact positively with first responders through events like the Police Ball, Car Show, National Night Out, and more. These gatherings foster trust, respect, and meaningful connections between officers and the community.
    

2. Recruitment, Training, Equipment, and Retention
   Funds raised through our events and campaigns help support recruitment efforts, professional training programs, essential equipment, and retention initiatives, ensuring that first responders are well-prepared, appreciated, and able to serve effectively.
    

3. Sharing Heroic Stories
   We highlight the bravery, dedication, and impact of first responders through newsletters, social media, and community storytelling. Celebrating these heroes educates the public and strengthens the bond between the community and its protectors.
